Big things are brewing at GCR and we may need some temporary part time work in the near future.  If you have administrative skills, accounting skills, creative talent, or are just willing to work and serve GCR, we’d love to hear from you.
You can also help us by suggesting names of people you think might be helpful in any of the roles mentioned above.
If you would like to volunteer personally for one of these roles, or if you’d like to suggest the name of someone who might be interested, please email

Parent University
Bunche Elementary
Thursday Evenings, 4:45-6:00pm
Beginning February 22 (10 weeks)
Families and communities thrive best when parents are fully engaged with their children. Parent University curriculum is dedicated to equipping parents and families to support children based on relevant research and sound practices.
While Bunche teachers facilitate Parent University classes, GCR volunteers will provide a fun and structured program for the children of the participants.
We need several volunteers for this program, including someone who is bilingual.

1 to 1 Tutoring
Lee High School
Tuesday Evenings, 4:00-6:00pm
In addition to tutors, volunteers are needed to provide food for this ministry. Each week we feed over 80 students, teachers, and tutors who are working together in the Lee High School library. The students appreciate the food as much as our time, and they especially love things that are homemade! There are several different options if you would like to serve in this way. Be sure to check out the online signup for more information.

Food Truck Lunches
Each Tuesday, 11:00am - 2:00pm
Make plans to have lunch on the GCR campus on Tuesdays! Each week we have 2 or more food trucks located in our parking lot. The vision for this effort is to not only encourage interaction among our members, but also to provide an opportunity for us to welcome our neighbors from the community to our campus, and possibly share a meal with them. Seating is available outside or in the Gathering Space. Check our the GCR Facebook page each week to see what trucks will be available.

United Blood Services thanks you for participating in the recent blood drive. 16 units of lifesaving blood were received.  Thank you for your contribution and support of the GCR blood bank.
