Check Your Genes
More people took genetic ancestry tests last year than in all previous years combined. More than 29-million people have paid the fees and submitted samples in order to find the identities of their relatives. One out of every 16-American adults has access now to their personal genetic data.
We are very concerned with where we came from and to whom we belong. Am I related to that person by marriage? Am I related on my mom’s side or my dad’s side? Am I adopted? Are we really related at all?
Similar questions were being asked by the first century Christians in Galatia. Since the salvation work of Jesus on the cross, are Jews and Gentiles now in the same family? Are all Christians related? And how?
