Trusting the Good News
Every time the Bible mentions Christians being filled with the Holy Spirit, it results in those Christians speaking more boldly about the Gospel. And we can trust God’s Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, to empower us in the same ways today.
We don’t have to share the Good News by ourselves. The Spirit guides us and gives us the words to say. We can trust the Holy Spirit to already be at work in the people right in front of us and to make great things happen when we dare to speak to them about Jesus.
Please read John 16:5-15 this week. Then join us at 10:15 this Sunday morning April 27, Baptism Sunday, as we consider together the trust we place in the Good News and in God’s Spirit to share that Good News with others.
