Living in ChrisT
Have you ever seen a chicken running around with his head cut off? A literal chicken literally running around with his literal head literally cut off? Wings are flapping, legs are kicking, feet are moving—there’s plenty of action. But no real life. The chicken is going through the motions, but he’s been separated from his head, the source of his life. Obviously, that’s no way to live.
Please read Colossians 2:6-23. Then join us at 10:15 this Sunday morning July 26 as we consider living in Christ together. The author of this passage encourages those who have received Christ to hang onto him, to live in him. Those who don’t, the author writes, have lost their connection with the Head. And, obviously, that’s no way to live.
