After prayerful consideration, we’ve decided to focus our energy and participation on one international trip this summer instead of two. This will allow us to serve more effectively and visit a mission location our church has not visited on a mission trip in years. So, this summer, our team will be traveling to Campo Grande, Brazil, to work with the SerCris School from July 10-18.
While there, we will:
Encourage and support the students and staff at SerCris
Help with a couple of practical improvement projects, including repairing a wall and a sidewalk at the school
Host a one-day VBS-style event for children in the surrounding neighborhood
This is a meaningful opportunity to share God’s love through both service and relationships, and we would love for you to be part of it.
We’ll be holding an informational meeting on February 22 immediately after the worship service to share more details about the trip, costs, timeline, and ways you can be involved.
If you plan to attend the meeting — or if you’re interested in the trip but can’t be there that day — please let us know by registering in advance. This helps us prepare and follow up with everyone who wants more information.
We’re looking forward to seeing how God works through this partnership in Brazil!
