Serve Families Transitioning out of Homelessness
Family Promise of Midland empowers families to overcome homelessness by providing shelter, support, and transitional programs. Over 43% of the families we serve secure stable housing after completing our program, achieving lasting independence and security. Every success story represents a brighter future for children and parents in our community.
Mentoring students in our community
Opportunity Tribe mentors at-risk students referred to them by school counselors. They have a variety of programs that seek to help provide students with a caring adult who can make an impact on their life.
Food insecurity in the Permian Basin
Mission Agape is an organization focused on addressing the challenges of food insecurity that effects Midland and surrounding counties. Since January 2012, Mission Agape has served within the Permian Basin through different community events and programs to demonstrate God’s love in action.
Emerson elementary
Emerson is a nearby elementary school that serves a diverse group of students. They are the only elementary campus that has a unit for students who are medically fragile. We have partnered with Emerson to help support students, teachers, and families.
